SPECIFIC PRODUCT SOLUTION

Wire-to-wire connector assembly for harness and equipment wiring

Custom wire-to-wire connector and cable assemblies built around customer-specified housing, terminals, and wiring.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A wire-to-wire assembly that follows your housing, terminal, and wiring specification.

Yuefu builds the finished wire-to-wire connector assembly around the customer interface: specified housing and terminals, wire preparation, insertion, locking or retention, identification, and project-confirmed inspection scope. Yuefu is an assembly OEM rather than a connector distributor or connector body manufacturer. Send the housing and terminal part numbers, pin count, wire size, pinout, application, and environment; the compatible build and test scope are confirmed during engineering review.

PRODUCT CONFIGURATION

Interfaces, construction and specifications

Match the assembly type first, then confirm project values. These configuration details guide selection; the approved drawing defines final materials, dimensions and ratings.

Interfaces & terminations
Mating wire-to-wire housings and contacts; one side or a complete pair.
Wiring & dimensions
Cavity-to-cavity wiring, locks, wire colours, lengths and lead identification.
Assembly construction
Terminated leads assembled into separable mating housings.
Conductor & materials
Specify conductor size in AWG or mm², conductor construction, insulation and jacket part numbers. Selection must match the terminals; see the material guide below.
Temperature & validation
State operating temperature and fixed or moving installation. Assembly ratings, test conditions and records depend on the selected materials and construction.
Additional product technical notes
Connector system
Customer-specified housing and terminal system or approved alternative; part number, position count, keying, and compatibility confirmed during engineering review.
Pin count and current
Project-specific; confirmed from the number of positions, current, voltage, and wire size requirements.
Locking and retention
Project-specific; confirmed from the locking mechanism, pull-out force, and vibration environment.
Sealing requirement
Project-specific; confirmed when the assembly is exposed to moisture, dust, or washdown conditions.

ASSEMBLY FORMATS AND RFQ INPUTS

Turn an assembly format into a reviewable brief

Organize the interface, wiring and installation requirements for your assembly. Include mating part numbers, material requirements and critical dimensions so fit and supply options can be reviewed against drawings and samples.

Mated wire-to-wire assemblies

Specify both connectors, locks, terminals, wire colours and circuit mapping. State whether the scope includes one lead or the complete mating assembly.

No complete drawing yet? Start with interface photos, pinout information and quantity tiers, and mark undecided items as open.

Use and assembly construction

Use
Joining two wiring sections with a separable interface.
Construction
Mating housings and contacts with specified leads on one or both sides.
Selection focus
One half or a complete pair, locks, wire order and lengths.

Start with the information you already have

With a drawing, include its revision, interfaces, pinout and quantity tiers. With photos or a sample, add interface dimensions, wiring information and required tests. Mark undecided items as open.

FAQ

Can wire-to-wire assemblies be built with a specific housing and terminal combination?

Yes. Share the connector part number, terminal part number, wire gauge, and approved alternatives. The housing, terminal, and tooling combination is confirmed during review.

Can you supply the connector housing alone?

The published scope is the finished wire-to-wire assembly. Housing-only supply, approved sourcing, and any alternative part must be confirmed separately from the project requirement.

Can wire-to-wire connections be integrated into a larger harness?

Yes. Wire-to-wire junctions can be integrated into a larger harness or cable assembly. Share the wiring list or drawing showing where each connection sits.
