04Testing scope is defined from the product requirement. Test methods, records, and applicable standards are agreed before production release.
Discuss process and inspection requirementsPROJECT FLOW
Every project has its own approval gates. The final sequence, timing, and records are confirmed from the customer requirement.
INSPECTION & QUALITY RECORDS
Define the dimensions, wiring and terminations to be checked, then agree the inspection scope for samples and production. Include the controlled drawing, wiring table, sampling requirements and acceptance criteria.
The project inspection plan defines test methods, suitable equipment and calibration requirements, sampling and acceptance criteria. Agree the inspection scope before sample approval.

Provide critical dimensions, tolerances, datums and the drawing revision. Agree sample and production checks, sampling and records separately.

Supply a pin-to-pin wiring table and identify the circuits, electrical checks and acceptance criteria. Connector appearance does not define the pinout.

Identify the termination, wire and terminal combination, together with the test method and acceptance criteria—not simply a request for a pull test.

Identify terminations requiring cross-section review and agree sample quantities, inspection criteria and record format. Applicability is assembly-specific.

Specify occupied cavities, connector orientation, identification and visual acceptance criteria so assembly differences are not missed.

For corrosion testing, specify the method, duration, test article and acceptance criteria, together with the required test records.
